Our story
L'Atelier des Uniformes is first and foremost a family: a blend of culture and love of textiles.
At the heart of this story are Fanny and Srinath: a French-Indian couple. Since 2006, we have been designing and exporting clothing and accessories worldwide from our own workshop in Bangalore, India. We have mastered the intricacies of this demanding and fascinating craft. The choice of Indian manufacturing was a confluence of circumstances. Our duo combines the strength and richness of both cultures.
The Uniform Workshop is also an observation made by parents.
When our eldest son started first grade, we bought an apron from a website recommended by the school. The product, in addition to being expensive, pilled after the first wash and was difficult to iron.
The idea of specializing in quality school uniforms at the best price was born in Lille in 2018 with the creation of the Atelier des Uniformes .

Tailored support
The Uniform Workshop is first and foremost about providing tailored support. Today, schools are seeking a visual identity to foster an environment conducive to student learning. Wearing a uniform places each child or teenager on equal footing with others. That's why we support institutions (schools, middle schools, high schools, sports associations, etc.) in creating their school uniforms. We design a uniform with them that reflects their institution and its values.
